Could you please let me know if I can take ferrous ascorbate & folic acid tablets for low blood count.Doctor prescribed me this table but after taking medicine I feel drowsy.As per the test haemoglobin contain in my body is 7.5

Dear patient Please attach the reports to better analysis if you have. Hb.7.5 is very concerning and must requires to find out the cause. Your symptoms may be related to low Hb or anaemia but some more information related to your problem are required for better advice

Hello. As you are already anemic (low Hemoglobin levels) that’s why you’re feeling drowsy and fatigue and so on. You can continue the tablets. Take pantocid tablet in addition if you feel burning in the stomach.Apart from that,please continue the medications as your doctor has prescribed.
