Memory loss and stressed
I've been having memory problem since few years. I'm too stressed with work and concerned about my family and relationship. I'm unable to remember things due to the stress. I forget conversations. This is affecting my relationship. I try my best to remember but that brings me a headache and I feel giddy after sometime along with a cry feeling.

Loss of interest, decreased concentration and attention, feeling low and disturbed sleep or appetite are some of the signs of depression. Consult a psychiatrist who will assess you in detail. If you are feeling suicidal or hopeless, seek professional help immediately. Try some relaxation techniques like yoga, meditation and deep breathing. Indulge in hobbies. Spend time with people close to you.

There are many reasons why one may have memory loss. Especially if this has been going on for a few years. Please don't conclude on your own that your inability to remember things is solely due to stress. There could be a simple medical reason behind it. Certain drugs or nutritional deficiency can also lead to this problem. The stress may be a result and not a cause.

Please consult your GP and explain this problem. He/She may recommend some tests to check why you are having memory loss.

hi I can understand your concern, normally the feeling of stress, anxiety, pressure with work or personal life will always have different impact in a person. due this negative feeling most of the time we tend to forget basic work/ thing also. because most of the time we are preoccupied with different things as you are bound with loads of work. during this time we might feel variations in our physical functioning. I think you also might be feeling the same. stay confidence, don't lose hope.
