Every now and then I tend to forget some minute information which later cause a problem like I keep bike key in my bike dickey and look around for it or leave the something small close-by but forget its location and search for it. Is this normal? What should I do ?

This is could because of the lack of attention you are paying during the particular activity. Is there something bothering you or keeping you preoccupied look into it and resolve. Again if it is normal yes it happens to a lot of people but it is a problem when you are distressed or it is causing impairment in many areas of functioning if so then meet a professional and seek help.
