Meniscus tear
I have knee pain since last 2 year. i have taken lot of medicine but not relief. Dr. advised for knee injection. after taking injdction in knee few relief but only for one month. After again pain start. its not heavy pain. As per mri Linear grade ii signal change in posterior horn of medial meniscus. Dr. advised for knee arthoscopy. Pls advise what I do now??? All blood & xray report is normal.

If the pain is arising from the meniscus and the extent of tear has to be seen on mri..signal changes are not necessarily tears..will have to see the mri scan..if it is a tear then you have to undergo mri.. You have not told in which part of the knee is the pain - front, back or sides which would help in giving a better idea and perspective to it.
