To develop OCD must one have a genetic predisposition, or is it possible to develop OCD without any genetic risk factors. (Not including PANDAS)

Genetic predisposition may be one of the causes of developing symptoms of OCD but doesn’t necessarily means that you would eventually develop OCD because you have the genes. Similarly, someone with no family history of ocd or psychiatric illness can still develop OCD or any other psychiatric illness.
