Mental health prescription question
I was put on zyprexa in 2012 but it puts me to sleep it helps a little but I still have symptoms, I ran out of the zyprexa and my cousin's girlfriend who is a nurse told me to try Vyvanse, so she gave me 7 of the 50mg Vyvanse and told me to take 1 when I get up and 1 again in the evening so I did, and it helps me alot I had no more of my symptoms, would my doctor be able to switch me to the Vyvanse.

Zyprexa and lisdexamphetamine are two entirely different types of drugs.... I would suggest you not to take Vyvanse on your own.. it is not a good idea to take psychiatric medicines without a psychiatrist's advise
Next Steps
I would request you to consult psychiatrist
Health Tips
it may cause more harm than good

That would be the psychiatrist choice based on your symptoms. Follow up with your psychiatrist and report issues you’re facing. Change of medicines will help.
