I have mental stress which is affecting my day to day life and physical health as well. I feel it is like a depression.

Hi. Stress definitely impacts our life in a negative way. To assess for depression, more details like sleep, appetite, mood etc will be needed. Please consult a psychiatrist for the same. Depression is amenable to treatment. Earlier the treatment is started better is the response.
