Mild Covid symptoms with 101+F
What medicine shall be prescribed for age group 5, if mild covid symptoms & body temperature is not coming less than 101+, despite paracetamol already given.

Usually fever lasts for 3 days, if it persists after that you need consultation. Meanwhile continue paracetamol every 4 hourly in proper dose if temperature is more than 100. Maintain good hydration and nutrition. In spite of all this if temperature is high you can one if dose of Ibugesic syp.

You can give tepid sponging.. It's better to get tested and consult a Pediatrician if fever spikes aren't subsiding... Thank you
