My dermatologist has asked me to apply 1ml minoxidil (once at night) per day whereas the dosage is usually 2 ml once in the morning and once at night. Is my dermatologist right or has he made a mistake?

There is no fixed dosage for any medication , it varies from person to person. Minoxidil dosage will be changed considering factors like work , exercise , dryness of scalp etc .Minoxidil usually makes hair look greazy , so some people don’t prefer applying it for work. And quantities will be changed depending on head size , applying large quantities for small scalp area may cause dripping of medication onto your face
