Missing periods
Hello Doctor. I'm newly married. I got periods on Jan 26th but in February I missed my periods. Sometimes my periods came maximum 3 days late/early but not 6days. Though I'm doing regular home work there are no symptoms of periods also (no stomach and backpain). I once had unprotected sex with my husband on Feb 7th. Is there any chance of pregnancy? Can I do a home test? Will it give the correct result?

May be... Get an urinary pregnancy test done if positive consult nearest gynecologists... If negative it may be due to anemia i.e low haemoglobin levels, diabetes or thyroid problems. It is also common in women with high levels of a protein called prolactin in their blood...it can be the side effects of certain drugs like oral contraceptives,antipsychotics,antiepileptics...it may be due to poly cystic ovarian disease as well... So I would suggest you to consult nearest gynecologists for detailed clinical examination and evaluation they will do the needful.
