I would advise you to visit the gynecologist so that you can be examined and undergo investigation such as ultrasound to find the underlying cause and have it treated. These following lifestyle changes can help to make the periods regular: - Avoid fatty, oily, fried and junk food - Exercise regularly (minimum 30-45 mins per day) - Destress yourself with practices such as yoga/meditation - Maintain a healthy body and diet - Have vegetable juices - Include corn, beets, lettuce, drumsticks, and pumpkin seeds in your daily diet - Avoid smoking and alcohol if you have the habit

The problem you are facing is secondary amenorrhea. For the evaluation of this (to come to the ultimate underlying problem), we follow certain algorithm. Step 1: You take medroxy progesterone acetate (10mg) for 5 days [Progesterone challenge test] If you get your periods after this, then you have progesterone deficiency, the most common cause of which is anovulation. If you are still not getting your periods, follow step 2. . Step 2: We do estrogen plus progesterone challenge test...if you get the periods, then the problem can be one of many things which may lie in ovary, pituitary gland or hypothalamus. Still if you do not get the periods, the problem probably lies in the uterus.
Next Steps
Take Tablet. Medroxy progesterone acetate (10mg) once a day for 5 days.
