MMR VACCINE DELAY
My son is completing 1 year. We could not vaccinated him for MMR due to his health. How much delay can be made for MMR vaccine as there are many covid cases in my building. I am worried about exposing him as we need to use lift because of high rise building. Please guide us.

The Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP) recommends mmr vaccine at 9 months of age. They also recommend to offer MMR vaccine to all parents who can afford it as second  one at 15-18 months and third at school entry (4-6 yr of age) no need to worry as there was no infection till now. Just go to doctor/nurse for vaccination
Health Tips
breastfeeding is best for baby. breastfeed  at least 2 years or more.

Ideally it should be given at 15 month of age but it can be given anywhere between 15-18 months of age, moreover there are reports that MMR vaccine may provide protection against covid.
