Recently i capped my tooth after root canalling,now i suffer moderate pain in the gums around that tooth after chewing lasting hours ,is it normal or i should consult a doctor

U should consult a doctor immediately as capping is only done when there is no pain. But if u r having pain then u need to consult. There os some problem with rct

It would be better if you could upload x-ray of root canal treated tooth.
However since the pain occurs after chewing it could be due to high points in your cap which need to be adjusted.

Do u have pain while biting or feel as if only that tooth is touching first i.e u feel it's little high, then better go to the same dentist they will do bite adjustments n it will be fine. Don't wait to heal by itself
