Gross Description:
Multiple lymphnodes in right posterior cervical region. Aspiration done.
Microscopic Findings:
Aspirate shows mixed population of mature lymphoid cells, plasma cells, few neutrophils, large
atypical uninucleate or binucleate cells, occasional ? Reed Sternberg cells. There is no
granuloma formation / evidence of tuberculosis.
Opinion: HIGHLY SUSPICIOUS OF LYMPHOPROLIFERATIVE DISORDER ?HODGKIN’S LYMPHOMA.
Advised excision biopsy of lymphnode for histopathological confirmation.
