Any oral ulcer normally heals within 7 to 10 days and a longer duration warrants a proper case evaluation. A detailed clinical history regarding use of any medications or habits like tobacco also needs to be questioned to arrive at the right diagnosis. You can use anaesthetic ointments like dologel CT for temporary symptomatic relief but that is not going to cure the problem and a visit to the dentist, preferably an oral pathologist, is recommended as soon as possible. Regards.

Do u suffer from problems related to stomach like acidity? Such problems do reflect in oral cavity as ulcers. If yes, u need to meet a doctor . Also if not, u need to show it to a dentist .
