Mr. Tahir Saleem
I am 26 years old.Two weeks ago i was diagnosed with increased eye pressure 26mm in right eye and 25mm in left eye. The pressure on next day also 25/25 in both eyes and C:D ratio of 0.8 and suspect me as open angle glaucoma.Doctor prescribed me 9pm eye drop for reducing eye pressure for 2 weeks. After two weeks they again check my eye pressure which comes out to 25.7/25.7 in both eyes..Now doctor prescribed me iotim eye drops two times in 12 hours. And asked me to come in 1 week. I have frontal headache and eye pain all the time and i am not able to sleep well at nights. What's the reason for high eye pressure despite taking eye drops. I have floaters problems also. Please suggest me solution for this problem.

Hello Headache could be due to stress, dryness, sinusitis etc Regarding pressure, get visual field test done along with pachymetry. Keep using eyedrops as advised

Are you taking any steroid preparation oral or drops? Are you very emotional and remain under stress and anxiety most of the times? These are few factors which may cause ocular hypertension . If it persists then please consult a glaucoma specialist and get detailed examination eg field of vision, oct ,nerve head imagining and certain provocative tests and diurnal variation
