MRI REVEALS GRADE 3 TEAR OF MEDIAL MENIS
MRIRIGH KNEE J0INT Technique: Routine sequences for knee were taken in multiple planes. Findings: There is a large horizontal grade 3 tear of body and posterior body of medial meniscus seen as T2/PDFS hyper intense linear signal intensity. There is truncation of medial meniscus as wel There is a geographic area at intramedullary location involving posterior femur suggestive of bone infarct. Knee joint space is normal. No menisco-capsular separation. The anterior& posterior horns of lateral meniscus is normal in signal intensity pattern. No meniscal tear. Anterior and posterior cruciate ligament is normal in signal intensity No evidence of ligamental tear S seen. Medial and lateral collateral lgaments are norma. Quadriceps and patellar tendon appear normal. The patella is normal. Intrapatellar fat pad is normal. The gastrocnemius and hamstring muscles are normal in bulk and signal intensity. IMPRESSION: MRI REVEALS GRADE 3 TEAR OF MEDIAL MENISCUS[BODY AND POSTERIOR HORN)

hi, As Sports Medicine Surgeon , I can tell u details properly. First thing if u want more details pls contact me through chat. MENISCUS tear at 31 year has to be treated by any sports medicine Orthopaedic Surgeon. U DNT neglect it.
