MRI scan for LS spine
I have severe back pain...i took x-ray and it shows there is little spasm..however of the doctor recommended me to do MRI scan to know the problem exactly. He is telling der is possiblility of slip disk and it can be know nly thru MRI.
I visited MRI scan center and before starting the scan I was too afraid. My heart beating ws too fast and my tounge got dried up. I was not able to breathe...I know it ws due to fear as I never done MRI scan. One of the techician told me take some rest and do aftr sometime. He tried to comfort me. Again when i sent inside the machine again I was afraid and again the heart beat was increasing and was little pain.
To know the slip disk do we need to do MRI scan coz i don't think i can do it. My back pain is gettin more and more worse

The only condition is you will to do all liquid medicines, exercise and some yoga as i instruct.

It depends on the body part where slip disk happened. If your doctor is saying to go for MRI then you have to bcoz i have not seen your x ray. Also no need to worry as nothing will happen inside the machine.

You can do CT (LS SPINE )for herniated disc(slip disk)But if your doc wants to go for Mri (for soft tissues structures as well) here's what you can do :
1.Go for latest tech mri centre-quicker n less noiser
2.Close your eyes as soon as it strts and open after mri is complete
3.Ask your doc to prescribe mild anxiety medication.(take it prior to mri).
