Multiple sclerosis
My brother has multiple sclerosis from the age of 18yrs. i want to know the cure for this treatment. Is this disease life threating. In this disease life span is short or uncertain.

Dear user, Multiple sclerosis is a chronic disease with no cure. But there are medicines to control this disease. One may have to continue this medicine for 3 or 4 yrs or for longer peruod till the disease becomes completely silent for 3 or more years. Life span becomes uncertainty depending upon the number of attacks and area of brain involved. There are multiple treatment options available to prevent the disease and patient has to choose any one depending upon the cost of medicime and side effects. Take care Dr Amit Agarwal
