Muscle soreness DOMS
I have not been doing any physical activity for a long time. I recenty joined a crossfitness course where I pushed hard and exercises. My shoulders are hurting very badly 24 hours. What remedy and suggestion would you suggest. And anything I can do about the pain. I prefer not to use any painkillers. Also when is it safe to take the classes again and what should be my approach?

Use hot fomentation or hot showers to help with the pain. Do regular stretching to help with the stiffness. Whenever you start any activity you have to start slow and gradually increase the activity level. Sudden bursts of activity will only make things worse and give you aches and pains. If things do not settle with hot fomentation it will be worthwhile to take painkillers for a short duration of time. Hope this helps.
