Muscle Spasm
I've been having a muscle spasm in the left side of my lower back. The left side feels stiff waking up and whenever i bend. It's been nagging me since 2 months there seems no real improvement. I'm a competitive powerlifter so i do workout as usual but avoid deadlift.

I believe it is related to your posture and weakness of back muscles that is why it is going into spasm again n again so stretch out your back muscles and start strengthening it but if it is too stiff then you need to release it first by doing soft tissue mobilization consulting a physiotherapist..
