Are you warming up before running? Are you stretching before running? Have you started running very recently? Are you wearing proper footwear? What kind of terrain are you running on? If you are only running for the sake of the exam thrn it's obvious you have not taken any measures. It's like you woke up someday and started running. What you are experiencing is absolutely normal and you should not worry about it. Your legs are stressed out and shaken up because of your abrupt nature of activity. Buy a proper fitting footwear, warm up before running,  do stretching of the whole body.
Next Steps
Consult a trainer or physiotherapist who can properly guide you and help you with the physcial exam.
Health Tips
When running, remember.  . . Shoes, terrain, warm up, stretching.
