My 11 month old baby having fever with
Temperature 101 and because of teething problems .I consulted pediatrics doctor she says let continue babygesic for 3 days.but already it's second day baby having fever coming and going.after fever down baby play well also.but it make baby weak any antibiotics Can you suggest which good for baby.

The very fact that your baby is well in between fever spikes proves that this is more likely to be a viral infection. Don't panic and start antibiotics now. Just hold fire. Wait for 2 more days. If fever spikes are getting more frequent and high fever is noted, go for blood counts and blood cultures. A urine routine should be done as well. If anyone in the family is having headache, cough cold symptoms or fever, get a covid 19 RT PCR done. Hope this helps!

Continue babygesuc syrup as advised by your pediatrician. Give plenty of oral liquids Watch for urine and activity of baby In view of Covid pandemic Please ensure seniors in the house are keptvaway from baby Would advise ypu all to wear masks too and only one caretaker for baby till fever settles

Hi, Fever will be there for 3-4 days. Continue paracetamol/ babygesic for fever
