My friends husband is diabetic
Hi ..my very best friends  diabetic type2.he was had urinary tract infection which spread to kidney mildly now he is given in injections...ti decrease infection...I am very worried..recently he got eye site also.m( I m mentions this as I came to know that diabetes effect eye site) he work for software..which is very stressful job...now this infection affecting is this very serious problem is it a life threatening ...what will be life span of such people...ppls true answers only

As a diabetes specialist, my opinion is to get him properly evaluated and tested. Uncontrolled diabetes can lead to multiple organ failure, if untreated correctly. He needs medicines and adequate insulin to make sure that further organ damage is controlled.
