My HbA1c is 8.0.
My doctor asked me to do CIMT , Micro albumin test and Opthalmic Fundus test . All results were normal. My doctor told me not to worry about HbA1c of 8.0 . Told me continue with the same medicines i.e Dianorm Total 60 (twice a day), cardace 5.0 daily, and Atorva 10 (alternate day) and NIacin NF ( alternate day). Is this line of treatment okay? I have read that HbA1c 8.0 is high.
