My tooth was extracted,I take ciplox-tz it will react on my lips.my lips are swelling.then I asked dentist,he suggested take Allegra.but it not worked.

Kindly consult your physician if swelling does not subside on its own within few hours. Allegra is a good medicine to counter allergies, but you may have to be shifted to higher medicines if it doesnt help.

Is this the first episode that you have swollen lips after tooth extraction. Generally if there is an allergy that will show up as a swelling , rashes, tightness of chest , difficulty in breathing etc. In such instances if the allergens are known then such medications or food or any responsible agents causing allergies should be stopped and anti allergic medications should be taken under the supervision of the doctor.
Always make it a point to keep a note about the allergens.
