My mother 64yr /F uncontrolled diabetes
My mother 64/F has uncontrolled T2 DM . She is taking Janumet 50/1000 once daily which she takes after breakfast and if she takes it twice she has gi upset problem. Her Hb A1c is 11.4 and random blood glucose is 230 in morning after tea. Please suggest me a good alternative medicine.

The HbA1C is very high. She may respond to Glimeperide and GI upset can be taken care of by reducing dose of metformin. Better to go for a full consultation
