My mother has an acute gout attack
It started on Tuesday evening when she experienced acute pain in the joint of finger on her left foot. It has worsened way much. Despit3 the symptoms of gout, her uric acid level is 3.7 and TSH is 3.9 (checked today itself) which is confusing. If not gout, what might be the cause? Are there any suggested medication that can help cure this situation?

There must be some injury or overloading of that finger while sitting, getting up or any other activity.
