My mother has diabetes and from a month her urine is smelling foul and she is getting a burning sensation while urinating.should a visit a gyaneacologist or any other doctor?

Most likely she is having UTI and a full antibiotic course is required. Foul smell, malaise, body pain, lower abdomen pain, burning sensation in urine are symptoms. If along with all these symptoms there is itching also then it can as well be fungal infection causing vaginitis. Total 5 days course of antibiotics has to be taken along with anti allergy and antifungal medication.
