My mother tounge
My mother is diabetic for last 3 days she is having some thing pale yellowish on side of tongue which is painful while eating and speaking. It is a patch on tongue which is painful.

Most likely its an ulcer on the tongue. You should check her blood sugar status. And visit a doctor for some medications for the ulcer.
