My son has sever mouth ulser with fever.
My son has sever mouth ulser with fever. Doctor suggest to use zytee gel for mouth Ulster and arithromicine syrup antibiotics and paracetamol. Is the use of zytee gel inside mouth is safe for kids? If he swallow zytee gel will it be a problem? Is there any specific food will comfort him and accelerate the healing process?

Try to avoid. Plain benzocaine is used widely though its been proven to cause harm in some kids. See that he doesn't swallow even if you use it though its safe in adults. Less spicy, less citric fruits would help. Avoid hot milk Ice on the il ulcer helps. Ice popsicles could help

No, we do not advise zytee gel for such young children. You can continue Azithromycin and Paracetamol. It would be prudent if you consult a pedodontist for a better opinion. Regards.
