I have teeth imprints on my tongue .for quite a long time like for the past 2 or 3 years..I have difficulty breathing too...I hope it's not something serious

it may be due to large size of tongue madam. when your tongue size is large it will usually get bite in the teeth and also it would obstruct the throat during sleeping which will create breathing problem and sudden wake up during sleep . surgical management would help your problem .you can go and consult pgi chandigarh dental college or else govt dental college ahemadabad .those are the places you can get prominent oral surgeons.

Teeth imprints on the tongue could be due to various reasons like clenching your teeth and pushing the tongue towards the teeth which sleeping. This maybe due to stress. Also enlarged tongue can cause sleep apnoea means one stops to breath for some time while sleeping as the tongue can cause obstruction of your throat(airway).
