Naproxen stuck in back of my throat
Hi. I took a naproxen pill about 50mins ago and I knew I swallowedbit wrong right away because I immediately felt it in the right corner of the back of my throat. I immediatelt panicked and tried to get kt back up but no luck. I have been drinking water since and eaten a banana to try and move it but it doesn't seem to be budging. I know what I did wrong; I didn't moisten my throat before taking the pill but I just want to know what to do now? I can breathe and cough fine but I'm panicking

It's unlikely for medicine such as naproxen to get stuck in the throat as they dissolve eventually. Sometimes they can cause inflammation around the area where they stay for sometime and can cause persistent foreign body sensation. Usually no treatment is required
Next Steps
Consult nearby ENT specialist if your symptoms are persistent for more than a day
