Neck joint pain due to excercise
Iam getting neck joint pain due to workout in gym since 8 months I already take some painkillers and paracetamol no use. Now I concerned neuroligist for this problem doctor referred to MRI scan of neck. Report attached plz see. In the report disc prolapse is stated what it means ? Due to this Iam unable sit for while Iam getting back pain Doctor preferred to use neck band. Doctor not explained any thing about my problem just take medication she said I am taking now Gabapentin & methylcobalamin tablets at night How long to cure?,is it a serious problem? What are the precautions to take? We are living in rural here doctors not much experienced plz refer me a good specialist doctor Thank you in advance

disc prolapse generally mean in between 2 vertebrea vertebral disc found. normally it prevent the easly & smooth motion. bt due to ur vigrous exercise it get prolapse and it create pressue on passing  structure like nerve.so that mostly u feel pain.u should take homoeopathic treatment along with this u got very good result bt it take time at least 6-7 month.

Dear , don't worry but the problem wl much more time to get cure As may be because of vigorous exercise and strenuous activity your neck muscles may be going in to spasm hence all those aggrevated problems . In your report cervical spine problem is there , so u need to take more precautions , avoid heavy weight on head, don't do any gym or excercise Without doctor advise Do physiotherapy , which is advised by doctor and good trained physiotherapist

Cervical traction ,Heat therapy , and some neck exercises are required from a good physiotherapist Medicines won't be of much help rather you can't just keep on taking them
