Neck stiffness and pain
I have neck stiffness and pain which travels upto the shoulder from the last 10 days..the pain and stiffness worsens while sleeping at night and early morning..please advise

Hello dear Considering your age and symptoms you are suffering from a trapezius strain due to weak periscapular and rotator cuff muscles. I wouldn't be surprised if you would have got these pains in the past as well. And in case this is your first time, you are expected to get it again and again in future also if not dealt with tactfully. Just a few quick questions: 1. Does the pain go beyond the elbow? 2. Do you get dizziness ? 3. Do you have any tingling in your fingers and difficulty holding on to a glass? 4. Do you have additional symptoms like hair fall, acidity, cramps, forgetfulness, fatigue? Need to see if the pain is replicated by shoulder movements or neck movements. Initial manage ment is similar. Neck n shoulder conditioning program , hot fomentation, anti inflammatory medicines
