Need advice for tooth extraction
My tooth in upper right jaw, 3rd from back.last year my dentist advised me to get RCT which I didn't get done. Now he says it has to be extracted. After extraction I will have to go for bridge. My question is can it be done that I get tooth removed and don't go for bridge etc. Will it effect my other teeth ? My age is 56 years. Male.

We should always try to preserve the natural tooth , if it's beyond the point of restoration than you have to get it extracted. Best judge is your dentist who can clinically examine the case. 3rd from the back is 1st molar which a very important tooth for chewing and moreover if you don't get it replaced there will be drifting of teeth in that place which will further lead to many problems. My sincere suggestion is to get the missing tooth replaced either by bridge or implant. Do discuss the possibility of implant as it is the best option.
