Need assistance on injury/wounds
Hello Dr,
Firstly, thanks to all Dr for making their efforts in this corona critical condition.i wish for better safety.
Now, I met with an accident on Sunday and rushed to hospital in emergency. They dressed my injury and advised me to take acidity tab, diclo and Amoxicillin for 5 days. After 3 days I went to BLK and got x-ray, all looks good and back to home.
Now, I am dressing myself and keeping injury open from yesterday by applying betadin ointment.
Now, my query is- when I try to stand i got pain but now while walking (not huge pain). It's feel like blood is collecting on injury but not circulating (I am not sure). This is unbearable pain.
Requesting you to please advise for quick healing.
(My wife is 9th month pregnant and anytime I have an emergency so requesting you.)

Your wound on the knee seems to be total skin deep(?).
It needs to be attended by a surgeon.
Until then you should apply vasline based antibiotic ointment.

Your wounds are deep. If xrays are normal it will heal but need at least 2 weeks. Pain for few days is common but if you feel any instability in knee better to consult.

Seen your wound pics first plz clean your wound properly with distal water and apply hydroheal or megaheal ointment it will geal faster as your wound is superficial and along with that use antibiotics and painkillers

If X rays are okay then continue apply betadine ointment and taking tablets.
I hope u have taken foot and knee x ray both.
Is injection TT taken?
Also there is swelling in the knee which is due to soft tissue injury and blood collection.
U can also apply ice wrapped in handkerchief intermittently.
Don't worry ul be alright.

Your wound does not seem to be very contaminated
1)Clean your wound with distil water twice a day and dry it immediately
2)Keep the wound open
3) apply betadine or neosporin oint twice a day
4) rest! If u will walk it pain and chances of infection increases
5) limb elevation on one pillow
