Hloo...first let me know what type of leg injury it is! Then if it is ligament related issue hv to attend physio sessions, there u hv been taught number of strengthening exercises and it vl b a complete rehab to ur leg. and if it is any other injury related to leg such as stab or anything just consult your near by physio.For any queries related to this you can contact me! Knee Strengthening will somehow help you because after injury the structure if not used properly tends to get week so you can start with strenghting your quadriceps , hamstring muscle and active R.O.M exercise .

Start doing exercises for knee.
Knee strengthening exercises, like static knee exercises and static hip strengthening exercises. Calf stretching.avoid if exercises are not comfortable. Ankle rotations.
Walk every day 10 min-15min.
