Neuro-psychiatric symptoms
Over the last few years I have had myriad of symptoms including : severe anxiety; sudden onset OCD, intrusive thoughts; mood changes;insomnia, hypersomnia; stuttering speech; severe brain fog, depersonalisation and derealisation; difficulty finding the right words; staring spells; migraines; chronic fatigue; sinusitus; stiff neck; anorexia; muscle twitches; ear fullness; age regression; night sweats; finding it difficult to write, read and follow instructions; short term memory loss. I am 24 and these symptoms have been most prominent since early adolescence. The symptoms at times, can be incapacitating for months on end to the point of being bed-ridden. However, I have found some functional ability, in between episodic exacerbations. I have a clinical history of Aspergers, ADHD and OCD. But I believe the rapid change in health during episodes, could be indicative of PANS/PANDAS related phenomena or mediated by infectious agents such as lyme. I hope you can share some light.
