No gestational sac seen in 4 week 3 days
Hi...i am 4 week 3 days (by lmp) pregnant. Today was my tvs however doctor said no gestational sac is seen yet. Is it normal..how long it takes for gestational sac to be visible by scan.

Hi. You must wait for at least 2 weeks before getting another scan done. It is too early for anything to visible on scan plus there could be a delayed conception, so there’s nothing to worry. Stay relaxed & positive. All the best!

It is usually by 6 weeks. It all depends on level of BHCG in your blood which should cross 1500- 2000 IU .

Kindly get scan repeated after one week. Gestational sac is mostly seen at five weeks of gestation.
Next Steps
Now you can do Beta hcg test which is a blood test and repeat it after 48 hours. If it doubles that means it is a normal pregnancy in uterus
