My 4 month old baby has issue with digestive system ,not able to poop without medicine. When ever I will go hospital after 7 day they are putting suppository. Now he is not gaining to ,3 month he was 5.3kg , 4 month 5.5kg. his birth weight was 3.2kg. he is refused to take bottle feeding. We are only giving breast feeding that also he is not taking properly. Please give me a suggestion what to do? Do I need to give any appetizer ?

Babies double their birth weight by 4 months. Not feeding properly likely the reason for lack of weight gain. Appetizer will not help. Any abdominal distension or history of prolonged jaundice?
Next Steps
Should test free T4, TSH if not tested already. Plain Xray abdomen for fluid levels, Barium enema to rule out mild Hirschsprung disease

Hi You need not add on appetizer..It is completely normal for a breast fed baby to have constipation for almost 7 days..But to note is yourself to take adequate water 3 to 4 ltrs of water..Do proper burping as per weight please recheck again ..Gen babies double their weight by 5 months..but if not gaining weight with ur milk then need to add on formula..Get checked Thyroid if not done of the baby..
Next Steps
Proper Burping and feeding frequently as when demanded to allow proper sucking for atleast 15 to 20 min
