Please don't be disheartened. A single miscarriage is mostly a one-off and prognosis for future pregnancy is good. Since you stay out of home and meet your wife once in 4-5months only, chances of conception decrease. Please get basic fertility tests done for both of you (this includes semen analysis for you and some blood tests for your wife). If these are normal, options are to try naturally or to start planning fertility treatment (such as IUI) for the time that you are with your wife. We can even freeze your sperm if you are away most of the times, and your wife can be treated while you are away. This will save you 4-5 months of waiting only.
