Im 16 and not got first period. Doctor has told me that uterus is normal but there is problem with hormones. And she told me to consult an endocrinologist. Is this normal? Will i get my periods after taking hormones from endocrinologist? Thank u.

Hello...., Malnutrition or anorexia nervosa can delay puberty . The normal variation in the age at which adolescent changes occur is so wide that puberty cannot be considered to be pathologically delayed until the menarche has failed to occur by the age of 18.. So you still have time ..it not pathological yet . Vide variations in age is common . Anyhow consult endocrinologist once.
