Nt scan report normal but nipt abnormal
Hi my nt scan report was normal but my nipt came as high risk t21.How accurate is nt scan .nt measured 1.3mm.

See NIPT positive mean you might have risk for anomaly. NT scan is only corroborative.

Hi there, If NIPT shows high risk then there is something to worry about. Please get a confirmation test done. That is Amniocentesis. Contact a fetal medicine expert and follow. NT NB scan is accurate too but this scan sees only two criterias. And it tells only about risk . It's not a definite test for detecting the problem. That's why dual or triple marker are mandatory with the scan .
