Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
My mother has been suffering from OCD since last 10 years. The obsession which she have is with excessive cleansing and hand washing. It had increased to a level which is interfering in all aspects of our life. 3 years ago, we convinced her for the treatment. It affected her health badly & she stopped the medication. I need help from a pyschiatrist

your mother is a diagnosed case of obsessive compulsive disorder. u need to consult a psychiatrist to restart her medications along with behaviour therapy so that she feels better. My advice would be you carry along your previous prescriptions to visiting doctor so that he/she gets better idea and your mother can be started on another medications and monitor her side effects
