Repetitive tasks, intrusive and repetitive thoughts, checking, counting, disproportionate excess need for order and cleanliness, as well as anxiety when not able to do the same are signs of obsessive compulsive disorder. Patients with OCD suffer from significant distress, anxiety and depression due to the same which impairs their quality of life. Please consult a Psychiatrist at the earliest. With a combination of medication and behavioral therapy it is likely that her symptoms will improve.

I understand your concern. You seem to be suffering from few depressive symptoms along with ocd as you have mentioned. You need to undergo a detailed evaluation with a psychiatrist to decide on the severity of your condition. If suicidal you should seek immediate psychiatric assistance. You don't have to suffer with the problem that too for more than 10 years. It easily manageable with appropriate treatment. Some therapy sessions along with medical help might be needed for you. I would also be more than happy to help you with that if you are looking for online assistance. Discussions will be held confidential. You can directly consult with me through Practo as needed. Online chat consultation is also available.
