We tried for pregnancy for two years. Last year(July 2017) we did laproscopy surgery for blocked fallopian tubes. They removed block from right side and could not in left. Then we discontinued the treatment for various reasons. We both were interest in giving birth to twins. So we want to go for ivf thought would have chance for getting twins is higher in that treatment. I want the detailed opinion in this aspect

Hi! Since you had a Laproscopic surgery for bilateral tubal block and only tube could be repaired , IVF would be the treatment of choice for you . There is a increased chance of twin pregnancy with IVF almost 30%. It depends on multiple factors , like your age , quality of eggs and embryos etc . There is however no assurance that you will have a twin pregnancy as the guidelines for IVF permit not more than 3 embryos to be transferred.

Chances are there because in IVF two or three embryos are transferred at a time .Start treatment after consulting to IVF specialist.
