I had just gotten my wisdom teeth removed and I have had a rather unpleasant reaction. Thus I am required to take Oxycodone and acetaminophen to function in my everyday life without severe pain. However this causes me to itch. Would it be possible for me to take an over the counter antihistamine to ease the side effects?

You can take Allegra 120 . However talk to your doctor to give you a substitute for the medication to which you are reacting
