Oral herpes???
Sunday morning I gave unprotected oral sex to a guy. Woke up from a nap Monday afternoon with fever and sore throat. Throat COVERED with white puss and high fever. Step test negative but was given antibiotics. It is now Thursday and just now starting to feel better but throat is still VERY white and a little sore. Could this be oral herpes or another std? I read about herpetic pharyngitis. Does this sound like that?

Hi this sounds a bit serious it is not general throat infection this looks as an STD you need to check with your doctor and also avoid such exposure in future we have to also check if there are secondary infections that could lead into future complications
