In my upper teeths there is a gap of approximate 1 teeth. gap is right side of centre two teeths. how much time will be taken to close the gap and it is compulsory to extract my upper left side teeth. upper teeths are little bit outside. my treatment is going on since 6-7 months, but there is not showing any effect on the gap.

hello ma'am, as you are saying there is a gap of one teeth on right side , there are are chances of any missing tooth on right side. To make the jaw bilateral symmetrical(same on both the sides), the extraction can be a solution on left side. And according to you, your upper teeth are outside, to correct them we need some space. The space will be closed only on the heavier wires, but since its been 6 months the force should have been applied to close the space. this is all i can make from your description, a complete diagnosis and treatment plan will be made only after having a look at Xrays and photographs and by examining clinically. Regards

Movement of teeth always depends on density of your bone. Tooth movements ie orthodontic treatments generally take 7-12 months, again it depends on your tooth condition and differs between each patient. Kindly visit your orthodontist for a change in treatment plan, if you feel no improvement for 6 months.
